Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Signal Processing Society (SPS) is inviting papers from student and non-student authors from developing countries for travel grants on the IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP) 2014. The major purpose of the grant program is to offer the genuine authors with financial need an opportunity to participate in ICIP 2014. ICIP is the forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of theoretical, experimental, and applied image and video processing.
Topics of papers may include (but not limited to) – image/video coding and transmissions; image/video processing; image formation; image scanning, display, and printing; image/video storage, retrieval, and authentication; and applications. The travel grant covers travel expenses to attend the program.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicant must be a student or non-student author.
- Applicant must have SPS (Signal Processing Society) membership.
- Each SPS Travel Grant application must be accompanied by a recommendation letter from the supervisor or a senior colleague who is familiar with the applicant’s work.
