Missouri Governor’s Conference on Agriculture will be organized in Kansas City from 19 to 21 January. The Missouri Department of Agriculture says that the event will feature more than 40 state and national speakers.
The major highlight of the event will be a January 21 panel discussion regarding the future of agriculture along the state’s rivers. Missouri Farm Bureau President, Blake Hurst will lead the discussion. The participants will also include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Missouri Levee & Drainage District Association, the Missouri Farmers Union and the Missouri Corn Merchandising Council. Moreover, officials with the Environmental Protection Agency will speak regarding current regulations and recommendations. Participants will also learn about agriculture research, international trade and animal health issues.
