The Nordic Climate Change Facility (NCF) has initiated the Third Call for Proposals on “Innovative Low-Cost Climate Solutions with a Focus on Local Business Development” in eligible developing countries.
The facility encourages business development and opportunities which provide goods and services to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and facilitate climate change adaptation. Successful applicants are expected to generate strong positive development impact in addition to demonstrable climate change benefits. The Facility is financed by the Nordic Development Fund (NDF) and implemented in collaboration with the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO).
The deadline for submitting proposals is 16 January 2012.
