School of Education and School of Law at Zirve University is organizing an international conference on Global Issues of Early Childhood Education and Children’s Rights (ICECER) from April 27 to 29, 2012 in Gaziantep, Turkey. The conference is aimed at encouraging and facilitating the scholarly collaboration on the related vital issues, and educating the audience in order to enhance the well-being of children globally. The organizers as a result of this conference expect to educate, empower and bring about change for the betterment for all children.
This conference will also strive to influence the implementation of legislation for children and their status in society. This conference is planned to take place in April, 2012; April is the month of Child Abuse Awareness and contains Children’s Day. It is planned to have presenters from all over the world. The Ministry of Education Headquarters in Gaziantep is a partner in this endeavor. This is an ongoing project expected to continue every other year.
In this context, papers are invited from interested and eligible participants all over the world for presentation or just being an audience at this conference.
Who can participate?
Daycare administrators, preschool teachers, early childhood education researchers, parents, lawmakers, pedagogs, psychologists, sociologists, psychiatrists, pediatricians, deputies who consider and label problems in regards to children, any person who has contact with a child is welcome to this conference.

Paper Submission
The title and abstract of the proposal (between 250-300 words and one page) should be submitted in Turkish and English and should be sent as Microsoft Word File format (*.doc).
