The Stanley Foundation is co-hosting a conference on the topic, “The Apex of Influence with Chicago—How Summit Meetings Build Multilateral Cooperation”. This summit is being organized at Chicago from May 10 to 11, 2012.
This conference is being organized with the support of Global Summitry Project of University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and the Roberta Buffett Center for International and Comparative Studies at Northwestern University. Berenice Diaz Ceballos, Mexico G-20 Summit Deputy Coordinator (Sous Sherpa), will give a keynote address on her country’s host role and priorities.
The specialists who emphasize on several multilateral bodies will discuss how summits advance the immediate objectives of those groups or help respond to more fundamental challenges at this conference. The themes of the conference sessions highlight key questions of relevance or strategic purpose for groups as the G-8, G-20, Eurozone, and NATO. the summit can be attended via webcast at following link
