Applicants can submit their expertise, suggestions and ideas for how one can “Wow” attendees with thought provoking content, inspiring speakers and engaging programming for PastForward Conference to be held in Washington, DC.
About the Program
PastForward 2015 will begin with a year-long celebration of the National Historic Preservation Act’s 50th anniversary with programming that celebrates and honors the past while looking decisively forward toward our next 50 years.
The National Preservation Conference is the premier educational and networking event for historic preservation professionals, volunteer leaders, and advocates. Preservation Studio offers attendees the chance to explore exhibits, see live demonstrations and watch films. In addition, the live streaming TrustLive engages new audiences as they explore preservation through new lenses.
Idea/Proposal Topics
Applicants can submit their idea/proposal on any of the following topics:
- Ideas for educational sessions (Learning Labs and Power Sessions).
- Propose a Washington, D.C. area Field Study exploring on the ground preservation efforts.
- Suggest an inspiring speaker or presenter for educational sessions or TrustLive presentations.
- Share a preservation film that you feel attendees should have the chance to view and discuss.
How to apply?
- Simply fill out the brief online form and submit your Idea/Proposal.
- The staff will contact directly for any question.
- The review process will start late January, with notifications going out early spring.
