The 2012 Teachers of Color and Allies Summit will be organized on October 29, 2012 from 8:30am to 3:30pm at University of Colorado at Boulder Campus, University Memorial Center. This summit will be organized on the topic, “Critical Perspectives and Radical Possibilities for Urban Communities”.
The Teachers of Color and Allies Summit (ToCA) brings together education students, practicing educators of color, and allies to provide collegial support, opportunities for networking and mentoring, and insights into best practices in education.
The Keynote Speaker on the occasion will be Dr. Jeff Duncan-Andrade, Assistant Professor of Raza Studies and Education Administration and Interdisciplinary Studies, and Co-Director of the Educational Equity Initiative at San Francisco State University’s Cesar Chavez Institute.
