The UHAI EASHRI invites session presentation ideas and abstracts from activists working across Africa for the 5th Regional Changing faces, Changing Spaces Conference (CFCS V) to be held from 17-19 June 2015. CFCS is an Africa-wide biennial convening of sex worker and LGBTI activists and partners. Theme for CFCS V is Visibility in our Identities, Solidarity in We! Power.
UHAI EASHRI is an indigenous activist fund which provides flexible and accessible resources to support civil society activism around issues of sexuality, health and human rights in the East African region with a particular focus on the rights of sexual minorities. UHAI provides grants and capacity support to sex worker and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) organizations in the five East African countries- Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda.

Each session will be 60 minutes in length including presentations and discussions. Panel discussions are strongly encouraged.
Eligibility Criteria
- Submitters must be activists working across Africa.
- Submissions must be made in one of the three languages – English, Swahili and French.
- Submission Ideas Should include the following
- Name, organizational affiliation (if any), email address and phone numbers of the submitters.
- Title of the session.
- Core Thematic Area of the session.
- Overview of the session (maximum 500 words)
