Unite for Sight is organizing the Global Health & Innovation Conference (GHIC) at Yale University, New Haven CT from April 21-22, 2012. This is one of world’s most important global health conferences and is attended by a large number of professionals and students from different parts of the world. The conference gives a platform to leaders, change-makers, and participants from different fields of global health, international development, and social entrepreneurship to discuss various issues and challenges in global health.
In this context, Unite for Sight is seeking abstract submissions from professionals and students in the form of Oral/Poster Abstracts and Social Enterprise Pitch Abstracts.

Global Impact Fellows learn how to apply Unite For Sight’s strategies to their current and future global health work. Global Health University includes idea incubator workshops, Certificate Programs related to global health and social entrepreneurship, fellowship and internship opportunities in the U.S. and abroad, and more than sixty online courses in Global Health E-Library. Annual Global Health & Innovation Conference convenes 2,200 participants from all 50 states and from more than 50 countries to exchange ideas and strategies across all disciplines of global health, international development, and social entrepreneurship.
Abstract Submissions
You can also submit abstracts for the Global Health & Innovation Conference. The GHIC accepts two types of abstract submissions. Professionals and students are eligible to submit either type of abstract.
– Oral/Poster Abstracts: These abstracts may be research-focused, clinical-focused, or program-focused. The abstract must include results (data and outcomes), and accepted abstracts will be invited for oral or poster presentation. The final abstract deadline is September 30, 2011.
– Social Enterprise Pitch Abstracts: Those in an early stage of development should instead submit an abstract for the Social Enterprise Pitch Sessions. Pitch abstracts are accepted on a rolling application deadline.
