21st Airports Council International- ACI Africa General Assembly Conference and exhibition will be organized in the month of August, 2012 at Zambia. ACI Secretary General Ali Tounsi declared the development at a press briefing through investigations of the capacity of Livingstone to host high profiled conferences. These conferences will bring together high profile delegates including Chief Executive Officers and Senior Managers operating National Airports in Africa.
There are around 259 Airports which are estimated to be represented at the conference held in Zambia with countries within Africa, Europe and America. These also include others infrastructure as hotels and lodges and the general environment of the Tourist Capital. Livingstone Tourism Association Vice Chairperson, William Colenbrander has emphasized that the conference will offer as an added advantage to Zambia to market the country in preparation of the 2013 UN World Tourism General Conference. The Airports Council International is an association of the world’s airports with an aim to promote support among its member airports and other partners in the world aviation.
