Irish Theatre Institute (ITI) invites applications from theater artists, companies and playwrights interested in participating in the fifth cycle of ITI’s Six in the Attic programme funded by the Arts Council’s Theater Resource Sharing Scheme.
Successful applicants will benefit from access to a designated resource space and administrative supports, as well as in-house expertise to assist them engage, explore, develop and collaborate on their projects.
Program Highlights
- Mentoring on a wide range of subjects
- Designated Desk Space from January 2015 – June 2016 on Irish Theatre Institute
- Engagement for Playwrights with key London-based Literary Managers
- Bespoke series of meetings with key experts in the areas of festival programming, funding, tax for the self-employed and legal responsibilities.
- Free Wi-Fi access.
- Provision of an ITI Artist’s Practice Bursary of €500 for each participant
Application Process
- Each applicant must submit a brief written proposal (up to 500 words) detailing their aims accompanied by a CV outlining their recent professional theatre activities.
