The IGGY, an online educational community, in partnership with The Litro magazine, is currently inviting the young writers worldwide to participate in the Young Writers’ Prize, to inspire, encourage and acknowledge the creativity of young people. The theme of the stories must be “Movement”.
Prize
- The winner will receive a £1,000 cash prize.
- The winning short story will be published on IGGY.net and in Litro Magazine.
- Further prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the judges
Note: All participants submitting a story will automatically receive free IGGY membership giving them access to exciting educational content and access to other like-minded young people across the globe!
Eligibility Criteria
- The competition is open for the young writers worldwide with 13- 18 years of age.
- Stories must be no more than 2500 words in length.
Key Dates
- Closing date: 09:00GMT Monday 8th February 2016
- Winner announced: Wednesday 6th April 2016
- Shortlist announced: Wednesday 9th March 2016
All shortlisted entrants will be invited to attend the awards ceremony at the iconic Shard building in London.
