The Young Arab Theatre Fund (YATF) invites applications to apply for Production and Touring programs to encourages young artists working in contemporary arts, through different artistic disciplines, to apply for the production (theatre, dance, music, installation, video etc) and touring programs (performances, exhibitions etc).
YATF was founded to meet the increasing demands of the independent artists throughout the region who are embracing a new artistic sensibility and developing a cultural space conducive to creativity and critical engagement with their socio-political circumstances.
Eligibility–
- Young professional artists, curators and cultural operators who live and work in the Arab world
- professionals in the fields of theatre, dance, music, photography, video, installation, cinema…
- professionals who have not previously been supported by the YATF, though this does not exclude the possibility for an aplicant to recieve 2 consecutive grants
- Projects which explore different artistic diciplines and produce multidicipinary work
- artistic quality
