Eligible Countries in Latin America & the Caribbean
The Regional Course is open to candidates from the following countries: Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia (Plurinational State of), Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of).
Other Eligibility Criteria
- To qualify for the Regional Course, candidates must have a legal background with professional experience in the field of international law. The selected participants are required to submit a medical certificate of good health and to certify that they are able to attend the entire course period.
- The 2016 Regional Course will be conducted in English. Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
- The Regional Course is also open to academia and professionals from intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations and similar institutions engaged in international law activities in the relevant region.

Application form can be downloaded from the website and must be sent by email before the deadline. Two copies of the application form must be submitted:
- One scanned version of the signed original; and
- One electronic version (MS word or equivalent).
