The ASTRAIA Female Leadership Foundation operates on the basis of clear values and beliefs. ASTRAIA creates a platform for engagement and raises funds for projects, directly benefit women and girls. ASTRAIA aims to change the fact that 3/4 of all women around the world are poor people and their children are usually a similarly hopeless fate predestined.
ASTRAIA Programs
- 1000 Faces of Hope – ASTRAIA has launched “1000 Faces of Hope” to life with many supporters and dedicated women to take the first step and allow 1,000 young women from poor study.
- Medical Care for Mothers in Uganda – ASTRAIA built a mobile clinic in the villages at the foot of the Rwenzori Mountains which allows women and children for the first time to access the support of medical care.
- Opportunities for Street Children in India – ASTRAIA supports a specific rehabilitation program for girls who had to spend most of their lives on the road.
- Education for Women in Morocco – ASTRAIA promotes education of girls and women in traditional crafts and reading ability and to learn to write.
