Australian Federation of Graduate Women NSW Inc Central West Branch is seeking applications for Dr Barbara Wright Postgraduate Scholarship program 2013 for which the subjects are offered by the University.
The scholarship will be to the value of $4000. The scholarship will be applied to the cost of the successful applicant’s expenses such as fees, books, equipment, computer, library research or travel expenses incurred in the designated
program/research.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent but NOT normally a postgraduate award
- Be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status
- Live in the Central West, (defined as including the Local Government areas of Lachlan, Parkes, Forbes, Weddin, Cowra, Cabonne, Wellington, Orange, Blayney, Bathurst Regional, Oberon and City of Lithgow)
- Be available to commence the program in 2014
Documents required-
- Photocopies of Driver’s License and Passport/Birth Certificate
- Transcript of undergraduate degree/equiv. qualification
- Evidence of acceptance into proposed Post-grad course/research (eg: letter from university/research team)
- Proposed budget (eg: evidence of cost of course/research, brief outline of categories of costs and justification – to limit of $4000)
- CV (including personal details, education history – secondary and tertiary only, employment history)
- Statement of reasons for applying for the scholarship (eg: financial need, career advancement, community need/benefit)
