Applications are invited for European fund for Investigative Journalism for EU and EFTA region.
Journalismfund.eu wants to further cross-border reporting, where journalists cooperate across borders. This allows them to pool knowledge and time for research. Due to the different languages and media traditions they are not direct competitors, on the contrary. By addressing each their target group they publish the common story to a much wider target group and can obtain stronger impact.
Good journalism needs good ideas, competent and committed journalists, supportive editors – and time and money. The latter is something the European Fund for Investigative Journalism can help with.
Eligibility-
- Journalismfund.eu supports journalists from EU and EFTA countries. When relevant for the story team members outside these countries can be accepted.
- Applicants must be working as professional journalists.
- Only natural persons are eligible.
