Curtin University is pleased to invite applications for Humanities Honours Scholarships Program offered to pursue undergraduate degree level studies. The purpose of this program is to encourage and assist students experiencing financial hardship to undertake or who are currently undertaking an honours year at Curtin University. Scholarship is offered in the fields of Arts.
The Curtin Humanities Honours Scholarship will provide the following support for up to one year-
- One-off cash payment of $2,000. The amount can be used at the recipient’s discretion to contribute towards educational related expenses
- If the student has commenced their Honours program in Semester 2, 2013 they will receive a one-off payment of $1,000 in Semester 1, 2014
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, the holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa or New Zealand citizen
- Enrolled in an eligible humanities honours course in Faculty Humanities at Curtin University in Semester 1, 2014
- Eligible for a Commonwealth supported place at Curtin University and reside within Australia
- Not currently hold any other scholarships
- Be able to demonstrate financial hardship
