Deadline: 27 November 2015

Nominations are open for the Australian Awards for Excellence in Women’s Leadership that recognizes the contribution of individuals to the advancement of gender equality at a National and State/Territory across 2015.More specifically the award recognises contribution of individuals that have significantly improved the likelihood of Australian women receiving equitable access to higher levels of leadership.

The 2016 recipient of The Australian Award for Excellence in Women’s Leadership will be selected by 60,000 Australian leaders from entry level managers through to the highest ranks spanning all sectors and industries.

The underlying purpose of The Australian Award for Excellence in Women’s Leadership is to increase visibility and momentum for the push for Australian women to receive equitable access to higher levels of leadership across all industries and the broader Australian community.

Women and Leadership Australia (WLA) is a national initiative that encourages the presence of women in business and community leadership roles. WLA believes that women represent an enormously under-utilised national resource, and by supporting a greater percentage of talented women to step up into leadership positions, tremendous cultural and economic benefits will follow.

I am interested in acquiring a sponsorship for a 2 week training offered by Coady Institute in Canada. I got a a partial schorlarship which does not cover the full tution and travel expenses to the venue. I am from Zimbabwe and hope that the training will not only benefit me but the community I would be working with as well.
