University of Queensland and Arrow Energy are pleased to grant 25 scholarships to Indigenous students to pursue undergraduate Program in the fields of Engineering, Science, Agribusiness, Environmental Science or Environmental Management and Natural Resources and Environment/Geological Sciences.
The purpose of the scholarships is to create a pathway for Indigenous Australian communities into employment with Arrow Energy, as well as supporting community development in key areas of community need.
These scholarships will ensure students have access to the resources they need to complete their academic study, including stationery, textbooks, internet access and IT requirements, as well as assisting with day-to-day living expenses such as travel and accommodation. In addition, scholarship recipients will have access to mentoring, tutoring and peer support networks.
Eligibility-
- Applicants must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent in order to be considered for the scholarships.
- Enrolling in their first year of study, or currently enrolled
- Studying by distance education, or on campus
- Enrolling directly from secondary school, or mature-age
