Calls for proposals are invited for funding by The Social Development Partnerships Program – Disability Component (SDPP-D) for not-for-profit organizations who can apply for funding.
Canadian not-for-profit organizations can receive up to $250,000 per year for up to three years for projects that support the Government of Canada’s commitments under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Four priorities are being promoted through this call for proposals; successful projects must address one or more of these priorities-
- Active Living
- Accessibility
- Vulnerable Population
- Increasing Awareness of Disability- Related issues
Eligibility-
- Be a not-for-profit organization, including registered charities and social enterprises;
- Be actively pursuing activities in line with the SDPP’s objectives; and
- Secure a minimum of 10% of the total eligible project costs from non-federal government sources.
