The Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (DFATD) has issued a call for proposals for child and youth protection initiatives in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The initiative is to support project proposals whose objective is to improve the well-being of children and youth in the DRC through child and youth protection initiatives.
Funding Information
Based on the availability of funds, DFATD will fund projects valued at between three million Canadian dollars (CAD $3,000,000) and seven million Canadian dollars (CAD $7,000,000) and that will be implemented over a period of three to five years.
Eligibility Criteria
- Canadian, international and local organizations, including private-sector organizations are eligible.
- Organizations that submit a proposal must be registered or have proof of their legal status.
- The applicant must have at least three years of experience in managing and implementing international development projects in the area of child and youth protection.
