Call for applications are invited at Donner Awards Program to be held in Toronto on December 2nd, 2012. This Canada’s largest and most esteemed awards program for non-profit organizations. The prize money is around $60,000 available to be won, with a total of nine awards granted.
The Donner Awards Program is Canada’s largest and most prestigious non-profit recognition program.
Three main goals of the Donner Awards Program are:
- To recognize and reward excellence in social service provision by Canadian non-profit organizations
- To assist non-profits in their pursuit of excellence by providing them with important performance information
- To raise public awareness about their important contribution to Canadian civil society
The Donner Awards Program serves to support the spirit of initiative and independence, and represents an important step forward in the development of an objective, quantifiable system for measuring non-profit performance.
Canada’s best-run non-profit social service agencies named recipients for Donner Awards and $60,000 prize money. Seven organizations throughout Canada have been recognized as being the best-run non-profit social service agencies in the country. The 14th annual Donner Canadian Foundation Awards for Excellence in the Delivery of Social Services were delivered on Friday in a ceremony at Queen’s Park.
