The Laidlaw Foundation is currently accepting applications from youth led groups in Ontario for its micro-grants of up to $500. The project aims to strengthen Youth Engagement in the Federal Election 2015.
Focus Areas
The Foundation will work proactively to:
- undertake research to establish a baseline from which it can measure progress;
- fund demonstration projects to bolster the case for systemic change;
- generate and share knowledge about the issue;
- advocate for changes to systems and policies.
Eligibility Criteria
- A youth-led group (a group of 3 or more young people between the ages of 15-29) working in a community in Ontario are eligible to apply.
- Applicant’s project must be under $500.
- The project or activity will usually take place within a short period of time (about 3 months).
- A youth-led group can apply on their own or in partnership with another organization.
- Outside partners are encouraged to apply and can issue Request for Proposals (RFP) and Expressions of Interest (EOI).
