Embassy of the United States Zagreb, Croatia is inviting project proposals from Croatian non-government and non-profit organizations for ‘Civil Society Small Grants Program’ 2014. The major aim of the grant program is to support initiatives that contribute to the development of civil society in Croatia.
The maximum grant amount per project is $10,000 for a period of one year.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Non-government and non-profit organizations in Croatia are eligible to apply.
- Projects supporting initiatives – capacity building for NGOs, youth leadership and critical thinking, education and capacity building for persons with disabilities, or women’s empowerment are eligible.
- The proposal must consist of a detailed, line-by-line list of expenses that will be generated by the proposed project and which expenses the applicant is requesting the Embassy to cover.
- Proposals must be electronically submitted via email. Applicant must confirm an automated email reply is received immediately. If not received, the proposal is not submitted.
- NGOs that received grants in the preceding year are not eligible to apply.
