Internet Users from all eligible countries are invited to take part in 3rd edition of the ‘Discover e-volunteering’ competition!. This programme offers grant of up to EUR2000.
The objective of this grant programme is to show the diversity of e-volunteering actions and to encourage all participants to undertake social activity on the Internet.
If applicants have an idea for the social projects in which:
- People help each other via the Internet (e.g. on forums, via mail/Skype)
- Build a source of common knowledge (e.g. using wiki)
- Create social maps (e.g. using OpenStreetMap)
- Share their professional skills and experience (e.g. e-learning)
- Are civic journalists
- Do something completly different that has got positive impact to the real world
Awards:
2000 euro grants for the implementation of ideas for e-volunteering projects. But the competition is not only about giving grants! Finalists will be provided with professional trainings and mentoring sessions with experts, who will support them in creation of high-quality e-volunteering projects.
Eligibility criteria:
- NGOs from mentioned countries are eligible to apply: Albania, Andora, Armenia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegowina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Greece, Ireland, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Latvia, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldavia, Monacco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Romania, San Marino, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom
- Ideas for projects, in which Internet users in a voluntary and non-paid way support others, share their knowledge and skills or create something for social good. Projects can fit into one or more types of e-volunteering, but doesn’t have to – innovations are very welcome!
