All eligible participants are invited submit entries for Awards for Excellence in Journalism offered by European Press Prize. The main focus of this award is to encourage journalism of the highest quality in the continent.

- The commentator Award.
- The innovation Award
Winners will have opportunity to win grand prize of up to 10,000 euros each.
Applicants must submit one article or a sampling from a series of articles, published online or in print. Submitted work must include a synopsis (250 words maximum) describing the theme, impact and public reception of the article(s). The innovation submissions must be accompanied by a statement (500 words maximum) assessing the importance of the achievement.
Eligibility –
Journalists from the 47 countries in the Council of Europe can participate in this journalism contest.
