The Aberdeen City Council is aiming at making the cities more beautiful, vivacious, creative and aspiring. Aberdeen city council will help these cities by providing those grants hence Aberdeen city council is navigating a grant program aimed at those involved in the cultural sector.
This grant will support the creation of new cultural activities, the development of existing cultural activities and will help to increase partnership working across the city. Support of more than £10,000 will be granted.
All the voluntary, nonprofit organization and or groups who are involved in cultural activities are eligible for this grant. Individuals may apply providing the project is in partnership with a formally structured organization or group.
Refresher grants of up to £500 are also on off er to individuals who are employed, self -employed or work as a volunteer, towards professional development within the cultural sector. Individuals can apply for a grant towards training or an activity which will develop their knowledge and skills.
