The Global Poverty Action Fund (GPAF) is a demand-led fund supporting projects emphasized on poverty reduction and pursuit of the Millennium Development Goals through tangible changes to poor people’s lives including service delivery, empowerment and accountability and work on conflict, security and justice. Projects will be selected on the basis of demonstrable impact on poverty, clarity of outputs and outcomes and value for money.
Important changes to the GPAF following a ‘One Year On’ Review:

- · Most grants for the 1st Impact round have been issued, and the remainder are currently being finalized
Applications for the 4th Innovation round are now being assessed and applicants will be notified shortly. Provisional grants have been awarded for the 2nd Innovation round. Six grants were awarded in the 1st Innovation round.
Criteria:

Important Dates:
The 3rd Impact round opens for applications on Tuesday 31st July, 2012.
The deadline for receipt of concept notes is 23:59 on 4 September, 2012.
