The Edge Fund invites applicants from UK to apply for Radical funding for radical change to support communities, campaign groups and activists struggling for social, economic and environmental justice.
The Edge Fund was initiated by a small group of philanthropists and activists in early 2012 who wanted to explore how funds could be distributed in a way that both devolves the power of donors and creates real and systemic social change. From that point several meetings were organized attended by over 50 participants representing communities/ issues such as racism, climate change, mining, Palestine, migrants, disabled people, Travellers, corporate power, Occupy and LGBTQ and covering all levels of wealth, backgrounds and passions.
Eligibility-
- Applicants may apply without any discrimination and injustice like class, ability, gender, race, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, or other factors.
- Groups working for systemic change – those who seek to dismantle and replace the structures and processes that create oppression, inequality and environmental destruction are eligible.
