The Infrastructure Fund is designed to support efforts to improve community parks and open space.
This is being done to make them more accessible, viable, and safe for children and youth. Proposals will increase or greatly improve park infrastructure as well as will directly result in creating more welcoming environments.
These grants are intended to support proposals which have identified park projects which address the lack of outdoor space for underserved children and youth that will result in long-term infrastructure improvements which encourage park usage. The Foundation for Youth Investment will only consider proposals from organizations that demonstrate that the entire project can be completed within two years of funding. The Foundation for Youth Investment will favor proposals that involve existing facilities and those that create facilities that have broad community impact and are accessible by the target population.
