Participants are invited for Cardinal Health Foundation Prescription Drug Abuse and Misuse Prevention Grant Program which help to raise awareness and knowledge about the dangers of prescription drug abuse and misuse.
Objectives of this program are as follows-
- Increasing awareness of the prescription drug abuse issue.
- Increasing knowledge of how to reduce access to prescription drugs and/or proper disposal and the consequences/dangers of misusing or abusing prescription drugs.
- Increasing willingness to openly discuss the issue of prescription drug abuse (“spread the word”).
Activities can include-
- Youth
- College Students
- Parents/Adults
- Elderly/caregivers
- All audiences
Eligibility& Criteria-
- To be eligible to receive funding from the Cardinal Health Foundation, applicants organization must be located in one of the communities mentioned in website.
- Organization must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to be eligible for this funding. Please note that a variety of non-profit organizations will be considered for this grant funding including schools, community organizations, drug taskforces, community coalitions or other service or civic groups etc
