The Community Action Grants program is an initiative of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) offering funds to programs for addressing issues related to the needs of women and girls. Under this grant program, proposals for projects that use innovative approaches to address local community needs or build linkages among community partners are encouraged. This grant program gives special consideration to projects that focus on K-14 (including 2-year colleges) girls’ achievement in math, science and/or technology.
AAUW is currently seeking applications from eligible individuals/NGOs from US for Community Action Grants Program. Community Action grants provide funds to individuals, AAUW branches and AAUW state organizations as well as local community-based nonprofit organizations for innovative programs or non-degree research projects that promote education and equity for women and girls.
