Slovak Atlantic Commission is inviting applications for GLOBSEC Young Leaders Forum Working Group, for this knowledge of English is basic requirement. Applicants form all NATO and Partnership for Peace (PfP) countries for this forum. The purpose of this forum is to unite emerging leaders from countries of NATO and beyond, with the vision of creating a vibrant dialogue, building networks, and encouraging future collaboration on issues pertaining to NATO, transatlantic relations but also other pressing global economic and political challenges.
Benefits-
Accommodation and board subsidies will be available to help offset the participation cost. Travel grants may be available on individual basis. The forum delegates will be selected from the working group using a merit-based incentive structure that will award a variety of related activities including.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- applications from exceptional young professionals, and are targeting young professionals from the fields of international relations, defense/security, journalism, international business, NGO, and academia. Successful candidates will ideally be passionate about international relations and will have demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Between 25 and 35 years of age
- NATO or PfP country citizenship, Mediterranean Dialogue, or partner (Australia, Japan) citizenship
- Past experience relating to: security or defense policy; democratic transitions; international law; international energy policy; journalism; electoral politics; humanitarian issues; or any other fields of relevance to the transatlantic partnership.
- Working knowledge of English
- Willingness to engage in regular online activity over an extended period of time
- Interest in long-term engagement with peers on issues pertaining to transatlantic relations
- Applicants who have previously participated in a Young Atlanticist Summit are not eligible to apply
