Call for Abstracts are invited at NCAS 109th Annual Meeting which will be organized on March 23-25, 2012 at Campbell University Environmental Stewardship. The North Carolina Academy of Science enhances public appreciation of science, scientific research, science education and a meaningful role for science in public policy.
The following events are not only open to those registered for the meeting but are also free to the public who wish to register during the event.
Keynote Speaker will include:
- Dr. Stuart L. Pimm
- Doris Duke Professor of Conservation Ecology
- Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University
Title of Presentation: “Biodiversity – The Most Beautiful Carbon”
Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentations. The abstract should be no more than 250 words in length.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is Monday, February 20, 2012
