Participants from United States are invited to participate in Philips Innovation Fellows Competition through which winners will have the chance to win grand amount of upto $100,000. Entrants will have to submit their ideas for the “next big idea” that will help people live happy, healthier lives.
Focus Areas-
- Living Well: For instance, technology that helps people have a restful sleep or a sense of security at home.
- Being Healthy: For example, new products or services that enable people to better monitor their family’s health, seek medical treatment, prevent illness and live a healthy lifestyle.
- Enjoying Life: Ideas that would help provide greater happiness in people’s lives, including being an active part of one’s local community and living independently as one ages.
Prizes–
To help bring the winning innovations to life, Philips will grant one grand-prize winner $60,000; an all-expenses-paid trip to Philips headquarters in Andover, MA to meet with members of the Philips Innovation Fellows competition steering committee and the chairman of Philips North America and receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the Philips Andover campus; and up to three additional mentor and whiteboard sessions with the business line leader of relevance, and/or subject matter experts in manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, HR and/or marketing. The other four finalists will each receive $10,000.
Eligibility & Criteria-
Participation open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, who are 18 or older as of date of entry
