National Institute of Food and Agriculture is accepting applications for Children, Youth, and Families At-Risk 4-H Military Partnership Program. The goal of this program is to improve the quality of research-based 4-H youth development programs for military-connected youth supported by the Cooperative Extension system.
Objectives-
- To support the development of Cooperative Extension’s educational 4-H programs for military-connected youth based on identified needs and soundly grounded in research.
- To integrate CYFAR-CMP programming into ongoing Extension programs for children, youth, and families – ensuring that military-connected youth continue to be part of Extension 4-H programs and have access to resources and educational opportunities.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applications may be submitted by Cooperative Extension at 1890 Land-Grant Institutions, including Tuskegee University and West Virginia State University, 1862 Land-Grant Colleges and Universities, and the University of the District of Columbia.
- Only one primary grantee application per Land-grant institution will be accepted.
- Award recipients may subcontract to organizations not eligible to apply provided such organizations are necessary for the conduct of the project.
