Applicants are inviting to submit their applications for Doodle 4 Google art competition, where creative and curious students across the U.S. vie to take over the Google homepage for a day with their artwork.
Doodle 4 Google is an annual contest open to students in grades K-12. Students are invited to create their own Google doodle for the chance to have it featured on the Google.
Benefits
- National Winner
- The National Winner will have his or her doodle featured on the U.S. Google.com homepage for one day.
- National Winner will receive:
- A trip to the Google Headquarters in California to meet the Google Doodlers, and the opportunity to nominate a teacher to come on the trip
- A Chromebook
- An Android tablet
- A t-shirt printed with his or her doodle on it
- National Finalist will receive:
- A trip to the Google Headquarters in California to meet the Google Doodlers
- An Android tablet
- A t-shirt printed with his or her doodle on it
- State and Territory Winner will receive:
- An Android tablet
- A t-shirt printed with his or her doodle on it
Funding Details
- National Winner
- A $30,000 college scholarship
- A $50,000 Google for Education grant for his or her school
- National Finalists
- A $5,000 college scholarship
Eligibility Criteria
- At the time of entering the doodle, the student must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent U.S. legal resident
- Students enrolled in home schools are eligible to participate in the contest.
- Only one doodle will be accept per student.
