Funding opportunity has been announced for Educational Technology, Media, and Materials Program for Individuals with Disabilities-Center on Technology and Disability under Department of Education. For this program funding is available up to $1,435,500 for a period of 12 months. The objective of this program is to-
- Improve results for children with disabilities by promoting the development, demonstration, and use of technology
- support educational media services activities designed to be of educational value in the classroom for children with disabilities
- provide support for captioning and video description that is appropriate for use in the classroom
- provide accessible educational materials to children with disabilities in a timely manner
Eligibility & Criteria-
SEAs; LEAs, including public charter schools that are considered LEAs under State law; IHEs; other public agencies; private nonprofit organizations; outlying areas; freely associated States; Indian tribes or tribal organizations; and for-profit organizations
