The Environmental Justice Collaborative Problem-Solving (EJCPS) Cooperative Agreement Program is accepting application forms for eligible applicants for projects which demonstrate the use of the Environmental Justice Collaborative Problem Solving Model with a motive to support community-based organizations to collaborate and partner with other stakeholders as they develop and implement solutions that address environment and/or public health issue at the local level.
The purpose of the EJCPS Program is for EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) to provide financial assistance to support community based organizations to collaborate and partner with other stakeholders (e.g., industry, government, academia, etc.) to develop and implement solutions that will significantly address environmental and/or public health issue(s) at the local level. The program’s objective is to support projects that demonstrate the utility of the Environmental Justice Collaborative Problem Solving Model.
Funding Information
$1,200,000 for each of the 10 EPA Regions.
Eligibility Criteria
An eligible applicant must be one of the following entities:
- Nonprofit organization
- Federally recognized tribal governments;
- Native American Organizations (includes Indian groups, cooperatives, partnerships, associations).
