Europe Aid is inviting proposals for Education, Knowledge and skills; Employment and Social Cohesion theme titled ‘Empowerment for better livelihoods, including skills development and vocational education and training, for marginalized and vulnerable persons and people dependent on the informal economy’ grant program 2014. The major objective of the grant program is to contribute to the elimination of poverty and social exclusion of people dependent on the informal economy and other vulnerable groups.
Total indicative amount of the grant project is €44, 000, 000 and the action project should be 36 to 48 months duration.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicant must be non-profit making legal person of a non-governmental organization, public sector operators, local authorities, international (inter-governmental) organizations as defined by Article 43 of the Rules of Application to the EC Financial Regulation or private companies, if they can offer particular access and means, on condition that non-profit is derived from their involvement in the action or professional associations, chambers of commerce and other non-profit making institutions representing the private sector, as well as micro-finance institutions.
- Applicant must be established in a member state of the EU or from Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway, Turkey, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia.
- Applicants can be from Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland and United States if the proposed action is exclusively targeted in the least developed country.
- Applicant must have at least three years experience in implementing actions in the specific field of the proposed action and must be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
