The U.S. Department of Labor & Employment and Training Administration (ETA) is accepting applications for Face Forward-Serving Juvenile Offenders. The goal of this program is to provide promising future to youth leaving their past transgressions. Funding will be provided in the form of a grant. Approximately $26,000,000 is expected to be available to fund approximately 26 grants for up to $1,000,000 each.These grants will be funded for a period of 39 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- is between the ages of 16 and 24 on the date of enrollment
- currently resides in the geographic area to be served as identified by the grantee
- has never been involved with the adult Federal, state or local criminal justice system; and has never been convicted of a sexual offense other than prostitution; and, is currently involved or has been involved in the juvenile justice system or is currently a candidate for diversion under state guidelines for juvenile diversion Programs
