United States Agency for International Development (USAID)’s & Bureau for Food Security (BFS) invites applications for Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) Program which aims to expand volunteer assistance and impact on agricultural program.
The F2F Program implementing organizations work closely with USAID Missions and local partner organizations, supporting a variety of development programs aimed at reducing poverty and stimulating sustainable and broad-based economic growth.
The USAID Agricultural Strategy “Linking Farmers to Markets” clarifies two major issues. First, it explicitly expands the definition of agriculture to include, not just staple foods, such as grains, but also fish, animals, forestry products, and horticulture. Second, it recognizes the entire value chain for agricultural products, from agricultural research, through production, processing, marketing, to consumption.

Moreover, applicants must have within the past five (5) years a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in planning, managing, monitoring and reporting on international agricultural development programs.
