Deadline- March 4, 2013
Institute for International, Comparative and Area Studies(IICAS) is now accepting applications for 2013 Human Rights Fellowship. Fellows will receive $4,500 each.
These awards will enable students to carry out clearly defined fieldwork, domestically or internationally, with human rights organizations related to a student’s area of study. The purpose of the fellowship is to provide students with an opportunity to contribute to the work of human rights organizations while also gaining practical experience that may influence the students’ areas of research or academic focus. Partnerships with both governmental and non-governmental organizations are acceptable so long as the affiliation enables the proposed human rights work. The fellowship program welcomes multi-disciplinary approaches to human rights fieldwork. Students are encouraged to publish the results of their fieldwork.
