Inter Exchange Foundation is accepting applications from United States Citizens between 18 to 28 years of age to apply for the Working Abroad Grant. The grant is available to certain participants who show a high level of commitment to their chosen Working Abroad program in Inter Exchange’s respected Working Abroad program. Applicants with limited or no previous international travel experience get preference.
Award Amount is $1,500.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents between the ages of 18 and 28.
- Applicants must have been accepted to their Working Abroad program of choice and have paid all relevant program fees for a minimum program commitment of six weeks.
- Applicants must commit to submit a written report upon completion of their program.
- Grants are not available for participants in Work & Travel New Zealand, Work & Travel Australia, Teach English in Thailand, and Language School programs without a volunteer component.
Complete application includes – a short personal essay, supplemental essay, two letters of recommendation, resume, and photocopy of valid US passport or permanent resident card.
