The United States Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) is seeking applications for a program entitled “International Justice-sector Education and Training Program (IJET).”
The mission is to minimize the impact of international crime and illegal drugs on the United States, its citizens, and partner nations by providing effective foreign assistance and fostering global cooperation.
Award Information
The amount of the award will be $700,000 in total funding.
Program Objectives
- To facilitate the participation of foreign justice sector personnel as IJET fellows.
- To design and execute U.S. based-training program for foreign justice sector fellows.
- To design and execute international follow-up training activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- U.S. non-profit organization or U.S. private/state educational institutions are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have existing, or the capacity to develop, active partnerships with stakeholders in order to successfully carry out the proposed program.
- Applicants must have demonstrated experience in implementing similar capacity building programs.
