Irwin Andrew Porter Foundation is accepting proposals on innovative, inspiring and effective projects for single and multi-year matching grants from US and abroad organizations. The annual grant amount ranges from $500 to $30,000.
Programs that foster connections between communities and individuals are encouraged. Applicants are expected to submit a page summary of the project for the first phase online submission. The selected projects will be invited to submit complete proposal with descriptive narrative and budget sheet along with other documents.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Organizations whether based in the United States or abroad must be either incorporated in the United States with tax-exempt status or have a fiscal agent incorporated in the United States with an appropriate US IRS tax-exempt designation to be eligible to apply.
- Projects must be within Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin if in USA.
- International funding is restricted to projects in Central and South America, the Caribbean and Africa.
- The application includes non-profit US federal tax id number or the tax id number of the fiscal agent, detailed project budget and others.
