This competition is open to nonprofit organizations proposing to provide services under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) grant program in the State of Wyoming or the State of North Dakota. Both the State of Wyoming and the State of North Dakota have relinquished MIECHV funds and are not participating in the MIECHV grant program.
Accordingly, grant funding is being made available to qualified nonprofit organizations for the purposes described in this funding opportunity announcement. Applicant nonprofit organizations must demonstrate that they will provide home visiting services as defined in this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) to families in communities identified as being at risk either within the State of Wyoming or within the State of North Dakota and will meet further legal and program requirements.
Eligibility-
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education .
- Applicants must identify the state in which they are applying to provide services. If an eligible entity wishes to apply to provide services in more than one state, a separate application must be filed for each state in which services are proposed to be provided. Eligible applicants for this competitive grant opportunity are nonprofit organizations with an established record of providing early childhood home visiting programs or initiatives in a state or several states.
