The United States Embassy Public Affairs Section in India is inviting proposals from US non-governmental organization to conduct student exchange program under Model United Nations Exchange Program.
Model United Nations (also Model UN or MUN) is a conference similar to the United Nations in which students participate as delegates to various UN Committees. Popularly growing Model UN programs in India offer platform to next generation of leaders across India to discuss regional and global issues.
The Model UN Exchange Program purposes to send a team of US Model UN students (middle school, high school and college/university) accompanied by faculty advisros, mentors and/or chaperones (depending on the age of the travelling students) to participate in MUN programs in India to share and discuss best practices, and to establish the foundation for future interaction on global issues.
