National Institutes of Health (NIH) invites applicants for National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD) Research On Hearing Health Care program. The objective of this program is to lead to the delivery of better healthcare access and outcomes and be directed to solutions that are effective, affordable and deliverable to those who need them. Outcomes and health services research are also responsive to this FOA.
The overarching emphasis is on the acquisition of knowledge that can be translated into new or enhanced approaches for hearing health care (HHC). Applications should be focused on delivering better healthcare access and outcomes and should seek solutions that are effective, affordable and deliverable to those who need them. Research is needed to develop new and/or test innovative adaptations of current approaches and practices
